Hi,
I just downloaded the extended edition of Frenzy and proceeded to install it to my 512MB Kingston flash drive. However, the default partition size for the installation was too small, I got "file system full" errors. So I increased the partition size and all was well. You might want to change the default size for the usb flash drive partition.

This bug exists only in Frenzy 1.0 Extended and was fixed. Thank you for report!

I have an USB flash drive with a write protect switch.
When write protect is on I can view that the stick is
recognized (command dmesg). But there are many warnings
(or errors?) and the stick cannot be mounted. When I
disable the write protection all works well.
This problem does not exists with Linux or Win XP.
Linux even recognises the switch and mounts the volume
only read-only!

Frenzy does not recognize read-only state of USB Flash and suggests that USB Flash is in read-write mode. This is a feature :)

It seems that Frenzy will boot from USB Flash only on PC with AMIBIOS-based motherboards. On Phoenix/Award-based BIOSes Frenzy sometimes boots OK, sometimes it fails to boot.
So I am will continue investigations, maybe there is another method to boot Frenzy from USB Flash.
