This may seem to be a stupid question, but I'm pretty new to the Unix/Linux/BSD OS's. I'm trying some of them that will run on a live CD in order to get a feel for nix OS's to see how they work, and if I want to go the Linux or BSD route. The problem I'm cursed with is this worthless winmodem I've got, and which at present I don't have the money to replace. So what I'm looking for are drivers that will work under Linux/BSD. The modem in question is a creative blaster modem. Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but I'm sure there are plenty of people in the same boat as I'm in, and probably quiet a few that would like to try your OS if they could find a driver for their "modem". |
